Kristine Alicia

Kristine Alicia is a Jamaican-born roots reggae singer and songwriter whose music carries beauty, love, and freedom. Raised in Kingston, Jamaica, in a musical family — her father, a musician and teacher, trained her in classical piano — she began singing at age nine and developed a voice that is soulful, sultry, and unmistakably her own, blending classic roots reggae with touches of soul and jazz.

Now based in Houston, Texas, Kristine Alicia has held a residency at the House of Blues Foundation Room in Houston and has performed across the USA, Canada, the Bahamas, Trinidad, and her native Jamaica. Her early career earned her eight nominations at the 2009 Marlin Awards, where she took home Artist of the Year and Female Reggae Vocal Performance of the Year, and her album "Songs From Zion" (2017), produced by Rory "Stone Love" Gilligan, charted in the Billboard Top 15 Reggae Albums.

Her current chapter is "Love Manifesto" (2025), a nine-song album of love reggae and roots inspirational music — honest, vulnerable songs about every stage of a relationship, including "I Am," "Energy," "Lollipop" (featuring Dameon Gayle), "King Man," and "Soldier Of Love." It is music of freedom and elevation: love songs with roots, made to heal as much as to move you.
